Thrive HR Exchange is a platform that facilitates the exchange of inspiration and ideas amongst the HR leaders of today and tomorrow.

In order to stay meaningful and relevant, we are dependent upon thoughtful content that is created by a community of contributors like you!

We value content in a variety of formats including written such as articles, interviews and whitepapers, as well as videos and podcasts. If you have tips, toolkits, infographics, slideshows and/or other resources that will add value to the community, we’d love to hear from you.

Our primary focus areas are:

  • Governance & Sustainability

  • Health and Well-being

  • HR Innovation and Technology

  • Leadership and Inspiration

  • General resources for the HR community

We are also open to ideas on potential training, panel discussions and webinars that would be meaningful to our community.

By submitting content you confirm your agreement with the Contributor Terms and Content Policies.

Content guidelines:

  • For articles:

    • Ideally 600 to 800 words.

    • Split clearly into sections (with headings / subheadings, quotes and consistent formatting). This improves clarity and readability.

    • Full of actionable insights. A good framework is to (invisibly) segment the piece into a ‘Problem’ -> ‘Solution’ -> ‘Action’ structure. This results in the highest levels of engagement from those reading your work.

    • On occasion, our editors may update your headline or featured image to make your post as social and search-friendly as possible.

  • For other formats:

    • It is dependent on the type of content and subject area.

    • Whatever the material, the best content is easily navigated and digestible with clear takeaways.

Important considerations for all content submissions:

1. Attribution: Please link to all sources, studies, research, and facts that you mention in your post.

Evidence-based references make your story stronger. When referencing a study, please link to the study abstract or full text of the study  — or an article summarising the research (but only if it’s from a reputable source like a major newspaper or respected scientific publication). Please avoid other online articles or other indirect sources. It’s always good to acknowledge other opinions and conflicting ideas (such as any critics’ concerns about study findings or theories). If you choose to quote any other source (another person, another publication etc.) put the quote in quotation marks, and clearly provide the source.

2. Don’t sell: Thrive HR Exchange does not publish community pieces that are promotional in nature, endorse supplements or medications, or medical advice.

Please do not publish any posts that promote or link to a product, service, or media offering (such as a network, show, podcast, etc.). Do not submit any posts that a third party pays you to write, or include any links to a product in your post. Accepting products or services (e.g., meals, gifts, flights or transportation) from people or companies in exchange for being mentioned in your post is against Thrive HR Exchange’s policy. Undisclosed payments for media coverage violate not only Thrive HR Exchange standards, but also the rules on deceptive advertising. If you are writing about a client or any party with whom you have a relationship, make sure to disclose that relationship.

3. Keep it relevant for our audience: Thrive HR Exchange seeks to publish pieces that are relevant to our core topics.

While we have a broad umbrella of topics about which we’re excited to read your submissions, your writing must be relevant to those core topics. If it is not, we reserve the right to decline the submission. Additionally, we respectfully ask that you not use inappropriate, explicit, derogatory, or otherwise offensive language. We reserve the right to censor curse words (and other similar language), and to decline pieces that violate these guidelines.

Please note that we may remove content that doesn’t adhere to these guidelines.
