Original production by Thrive HR Exchange
Hosted by Matthew Chapman, Co-creator of Thrive HR Exchange and Founder of ChapmanCG

At the height of the pandemic, Lisa relocated away from her family in Chile to take on the role of Chief HR Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Having started remotely from day one, she attributes the smooth transition to having seamless technology and internal buy-in to connect and collaborate online. Lisa shares her learnings as a newcomer to a world-class organisation that’s contributing to the R&D of the vaccine.

Key topics discussed include how to:

  • Enable leaders to lead with empathy, engagement and flexibility.

  • Support and encourage employees to speak up and achieve work-life balance.
