Enhancing Employee Experience with Mauro Ghilardi

Original production by Thrive HR Exchange
Hosted by Matthew Chapman, Co-creator of Thrive HR Exchange and Founder of ChapmanCG

If there is a silver lining to 2020 it was the realisation and resulting action for companies to protect their most valuable assets – their employees. As a result, many companies have sought to enhance their employee experience holistically, from health and well-being to pulse feedback tools.

In his new role as the Chief People and Transformation Officer at A2A, Mauro reflects on the work culture in Italy and A2A’s approach to tackling the COVID-19 crisis. Listen as Mauro dishes out insights on:

  • Building relationships virtually as a new starter.

  • Keeping the pulse on performance while supporting your employees to work remotely.

  • Creating meaningful (and non-intrusive) employee feedback and surveys.

Guest Bio:

Mauro is genuinely passioned about changing company cultures and environment to create sustainable growth; he has worked in HR for over 30 years at different levels (specialist, generalist), mainly with regional or global roles. An Italian national, he has worked in Italy, France, Switzerland, USA and Brazil.

More recent experiences include leading the HR functions of different Novartis and Zurich Insurance businesses and as the Group CHRO for BTG Pactual (private bank) and Ferrovie Dello Stato Italiane (Italian Railways, 80.000+ employees).
