Empowering Employees Through Resilience with Arundhati Basu

Original production by Thrive HR Exchange
Hosted by Matthew Chapman, Co-creator of Thrive HR Exchange and Founder of ChapmanCG

With increased demand and uncertainty felt by many employees across the world, resilience has become the defining trait of success. The good news is that it is a skill that employees can learn, and organisations and HR leaders have a vital role in building this skill.

At Procter & Gamble, the focus on growth mindset and leading with empathy has set a strong foundation for employees to adapt quickly to the changes COVID-19 has brought about.

Arundhati highlights some of these key learnings, including:

  • P&G’s shift from a “universal” to a “particularistic” culture.

  • Ways to prioritise the work that matters, even if it means saying no more often.

  • How to support employees with wellbeing initiatives and flexible work arrangements.
